image of the foot (often wounded) and its symbolic significance in myths
and sacred books (Achilles, Philoctetes, Eve, Jesus, Buddha) continue
to intrigue me and find a place in the chests. Reappearing from time to
time, the foot image mingles with other emerging themes—theatres
of memory, coded diaries, magic letters, collages of constellations and
maps less related to health but suggesting (Jung’s) psychic spaces
